MESSAGE FROM VICE CHANCELLOR
Message from the Vice-Chancellor
I am deeply delighted and honored to assume the responsibility of serving as the Vice-Chancellor of Kishoreganj University (KiU). I express my profound gratitude to the Honorable President and Chancellor and the Honorable Prime Minister of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Mr. Tarique Rahman, for giving me the opportunity to be a part of the journey of this prestigious University.
As a new and promising institution of higher education, my foremost goal is to establish Kishoreganj University as a distinguished centre of education and research at both the national and international levels. Drawing upon my long experience in teaching and academic administration at the University of Rajshahi, I am committed to transforming this University into a modern, world-class, and forward-looking institution of higher education.
Our beloved students are the very heart of this University. I wish to see them not only achieve academic excellence but also establish themselves in important and respected positions in society and the state in the future. I want their education to go beyond books and examinations and to nurture in them knowledge, values, morality, humanity, and a sense of responsibility. My earnest aspiration is that they grow into exemplary human beings and dedicate themselves to the welfare of our beloved country and her people.
In this noble endeavor to build Kishoreganj University, I attach great importance to the experience, advice, and cooperation of the distinguished people of this region, academics, eminent personalities, members of the intelligentsia, and people from all walks of life. It is one of my foremost objectives to work together with the knowledgeable and distinguished people of the locality and draw upon their experience and wisdom to develop this institution into an exemplary and prestigious centre of higher education. We aspire to build this university into an institution that will not only be a source of pride for Kishoreganj but also become a cherished institution for the people of the entire country. Let us move forward together towards this shared goal.
I extend my sincere greetings and best wishes to the beloved students, teachers, officers, employees, and people from all walks of life in Kishoreganj. Let us work together to build a knowledge-based, equitable, humane, and progressive academic environment that will make a unique contribution to the education, research, development, and prosperity of our country.

কিশোরগঞ্জ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের (KiU) উপাচার্য হিসেবে দায়িত্ব গ্রহণ করতে পেরে আমি অত্যন্ত আনন্দিত ও গর্বিত। এই গৌরবময় বিদ্যাপীঠের অগ্রযাত্রায় শামিল হওয়ার সুযোগ দেওয়ার জন্য আমি মহামান্য রাষ্ট্রপতি ও চ্যান্সেলর এবং গণপ্রজাতন্ত্রী বাংলাদেশ সরকারের মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রী জনাব তারেক রহমানের প্রতি গভীর কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করছি।
একটি নতুন ও সম্ভাবনাময় উচ্চশিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান হিসেবে কিশোরগঞ্জ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়কে শিক্ষা ও গবেষণায় দেশীয় ও আন্তর্জাতিক পর্যায়ে সুপ্রতিষ্ঠিত করাই আমার প্রধান লক্ষ্য। রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে দীর্ঘ শিক্ষকতা ও প্রশাসনিক অভিজ্ঞতাকে কাজে লাগিয়ে আমি এই বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়কে একটি বিশ্বমানের, আধুনিক ও যুগোপযোগী শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানে রূপান্তর করতে বদ্ধপরিকর।
আমাদের প্রিয় শিক্ষার্থীরাই এই বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের প্রাণ। আমি তাদের শুধু একাডেমিক সাফল্য অর্জন করতে নয়, ভবিষ্যতে সমাজ ও রাষ্ট্রের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ও মর্যাদাপূর্ণ অবস্থানে প্রতিষ্ঠিত দেখতে চাই। তাদের শিক্ষা যেন কেবল পুস্তক ও পরীক্ষাকেন্দ্রিক না হয়; বরং জ্ঞান, মূল্যবোধ, নৈতিকতা, মানবিকতা ও দায়িত্ববোধে সমৃদ্ধ হয়ে তারা যেন আদর্শ মানুষ হিসেবে গড়ে ওঠে এবং দেশ ও মানুষের কল্যাণে নিজেদের নিয়োজিত করতে পারে—এটিই আমার অন্যতম প্রত্যাশা।
কিশোরগঞ্জ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়কে গড়ে তোলার এই মহৎ অভিযাত্রায় আমি এ এলাকার গণ্যমান্য ব্যক্তি, শিক্ষাবিদ, গুণীজন, সুধীসমাজ এবং সর্বস্তরের মানুষের অভিজ্ঞতা, পরামর্শ ও সহযোগিতাকে অত্যন্ত গুরুত্ব দিই। স্থানীয় জ্ঞানী ও গুণী ব্যক্তিদের সঙ্গে নিয়ে তাঁদের অভিজ্ঞতা ও প্রজ্ঞাকে কাজে লাগিয়ে এই প্রতিষ্ঠানকে একটি আদর্শ ও গৌরবময় উচ্চশিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান হিসেবে গড়ে তোলাই আমার অন্যতম লক্ষ্য। এই বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় যেন কেবল কিশোরগঞ্জের নয়, সমগ্র দেশের মানুষের প্রত্যাশা ও গর্বের প্রতিষ্ঠানে পরিণত হয়—আমরা সম্মিলিতভাবে সেই লক্ষ্যেই এগিয়ে যেতে চাই।
বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের প্রিয় শিক্ষার্থীবৃন্দ, শিক্ষক-কর্মকর্তা-কর্মচারী এবং কিশোরগঞ্জের সর্বস্তরের জনগণের প্রতি রইল আমার আন্তরিক শুভেচ্ছা ও অভিনন্দন। আসুন, আমরা সবাই মিলে একটি জ্ঞানভিত্তিক, বৈষম্যহীন, মানবিক ও প্রগতিশীল শিক্ষাঙ্গন গড়ে তুলি, যা দেশের শিক্ষা, গবেষণা, উন্নয়ন ও সমৃদ্ধিতে অনন্য অবদান রাখবে।
